Pivot-RP Funding Database

Pivot-RP provides a comprehensive database of funding opportunities and an expertise database to help you identify potential collaborators within SIU and at institutions worldwide. The website also allows users to set up automated funding alerts tailored to their interests.

Pivot is a subscription service the Vice Chancellor for Research provides to all SIU faculty, staff and students. We are happy to assist you in using this service.

Create Your Account

To create or log into your Pivot-RP account, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to pivot.proquest.com
  2. Open the dropdown menu
    for the “Access Pivot-RP using your
    Institution's Credentials” button.
  3. Select "Southern Illinois University."
  4. You should be redirected to your
    institutional single sign-on (SSO) page.
    Log in using your SIU credentials
    (SIU Network ID SIU85xxxxxxx and password).
  5. After logging in with SSO the first time
    your account will be active. Follow the
    same procedure to log in to use Pivot-RP.
